Weekly Haiku 6

Apologies for missing last week, I’m still not sure how it slipped my mind so completely; I’ll post some more art to try and compensate.

Fireworks burst alight

With a thunderclap of sound;

Violent beauty.

Full Dark

Joy in solitude;

Full dark now on the highway,

Empty but for I.

Simple lusts of youth;

Companionship and pleasure

And our futures known.

Brightest Hues

Beauty lift my soul;

Nature’s brightest hues to see

Once the rains have gone.

Writer’s Block

Words seldom come forced

Nor coaxed from minds in slumber;

Rest, then try again.

Break Time

What sudden beauty;

The world glimpsed after hours blind,

Eyes fixed on working.
