Weekly Haiku 13

I hate how posting these on time is the exception now.

Memory of lust;

A used condom discarded

In a parking lot.

Fading Light

All my labors spent

In acquisition of love.

Now, fond reflections.

What beautiful lies

These merry words of fiction;

For now, hardship waits.

A bittersweet joy

To savor fleeting pleasures;

How quickly they pass.

Peace lost to anger;

Few greater tragedies born

That hate met in kind.
