Weekly Haiku 20

Well, a little late in the posting, but still technically on time…

Gray light dims the world;

Beads of rain glitter on the

Bright flower’s petals.

Thunder echoes still;

How calm the rain-drenched world when

Viewed through a window.

Still Air

Madness in the sound

Of silence settled over;

Dark, all thoughts now feel.

Rainy Day

Birdsong heard afar,

Lyrics to the drumming rain;

Slow, this dreary hour.

The Painting

The painting draws me;

Summer caught and fixed in frame

Long since its passing.
